Description
AF50 ... AF95B 3-pole contactors comply with the latest railway rolling stock standards and allow installation
in passengers or driver cabins for trains frequently operating tunnels or undergrounds. They are mainly used
for controlling 3-phase motors and power circuits up to 690 V AC (AF95B up to 1000 V AC) and 220 V DC. 2
These contactors are of the block type design with 3 main poles.
1SBC101363F0010 – designed in accordance to the applicable parts of IEC 60077 and EN 50155 standard (2)
– shocks and vibration withstand conforming to IEC 61373 (category 1, class B) (1)
– fire and smoke safety compliance to european standard EN 45545 (AF50 ... AF75: HL2, HL3; AF95B: HL2
hazard levels) and north american standards ASTM and BSS 7239 standards (AF50 ... AF75)
AF50-30-11 – electronic coil interface accepting sinusoïdal AC 50/60 Hz control supplies included inside the wide control
voltage range Uc min. ... Uc max of the contactor. Max. permitted control voltage must not be exceeded
during voltage fluctuation defined according to IEC 60077 or EN 50155 (see technical data) (2)
– built-in surge suppression
– side by side mounting without restriction from -40 °C up to +70 °C
– add-on auxiliary contact blocks for front or side mounting and a wide range of accessories.
