Power circuit coupling
LOR couplers
Description
LOR couplers are built without blowout coil and arc chutes. They are not
suitable for breaking on-load at voltages above 24 V AC or DC.
–– AC switching up to 1000 V AC
–– DC switching up to:
--1000 V DC for R85 … R550
--1500 V DC for R800 … R5100
For other voltages, please consult us.
1 N.O and 1 N.C. auxiliary contacts are fitted as standard. For additional
auxiliary contact, refer to "Auxiliary contact fitting details".

–– Automatic short-circuiting of the starting resistances of a slip-ring or
DC motors without the possibility of opening on-load
–– Electrolytic installations and electro-plating plants
–– Induction furnaces (please consult us).
